Steven J. Reisman

Steven Reisman counsels public company, private clients and governmental entities on a wide range of domestic and international matters involving bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors' rights. Steve is highly experienced in all aspects of Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, as well as insolvency issues stemming from business transactions and out-of-court restructurings.

Steve is well-versed in the unique needs of Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 11 trustees, secured lenders, governmental entities, creditors' committees, indenture trustees, liquidators, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, shareholders, distressed investors, defendants in avoidance actions, as well as landlords and tenants in bankruptcy cases. Additionally, his cross-border insolvency experience includes proceedings with clients in diverse markets in Mexico, Argentina and Canada, among others.

Steve advises investors seeking opportunities in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases through the purchase of bankruptcy claims, acquisition of assets or as a proponent of a plan of reorganization.
