About Shannon C. Gross

Shannon Gross focuses her practice for clients in the financial industry in regulatory and enforcement matters, as well as state and federal litigation.

Getting the details right is crucial in litigation

Shannon works on class actions, regulatory inquiries and investigations, arbitrations and commercial litigation for financial services clients. She helps gather all the pertinent facts of the matter down to the last detail. Then the team identifies all the strengths and weaknesses of the case to prepare winning arguments for trial.

Sometimes a good outcome is getting the claim dismissed. Other times, it is getting a settlement the client can live with. But Shannon and her team always do everything they can to assure the best result possible for their client.

The depth of Shannon’s experience includes managing e-discovery and document review teams, drafting successful dispositive motions, responding to regulatory investigations, taking and defending fact witness and expert testimony at hearing, taking and defending depositions, and researching securities law and enforcement trends.

Before her time at Katten, Shannon was a Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) fellow with the MacArthur Justice Center. During law school, Shannon was a board member of the Women's Leadership Coalition and an editor for the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property.
