Partner Joshua Rubenstein Quoted in The American Lawyer on Increase in Trusts and Estates Work

Firm News | July 2, 2013

Joshua Rubenstein, head of the Trusts and Estates Practice, spoke with The American Lawyer on the evolution of trusts and estates work in law firms. While some firms have dropped private client and trusts and estates practices altogether, others—including Katten—have expanded the work as a lucrative line of business. As Josh explains, private client work will likely be among the most stable practices for big firms in the future: "I think the firms that are getting out of the practice are chasing yesterday's news, and the firms that are growing the practice are looking forward."
