On Friday, March 23, 2018, President Trump signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act (“omnibus spending bill”), funding the government for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2018. Contrary to the administration’s budget for the 2018 and 2019 fiscal years, the omnibus spending bill does not eliminate the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (“CSB”), and instead specifies an appropriation of $11,000,000 for the agency.
