This article examines the latest changes in US sanctions in Iran for the commercial passenger aircraft industry. On March 24, the US Treasury Department Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued the General License I, which potentially makes it easier for US persons to enter into contingent contracts, negotiations and transactions incident to the entry into contracts for the sale of aircraft or related parts to Iran.
