New Katten Dallas Office, Corporate Partners Garner Media Attention

Firm News | February 7, 2018

Several publications, including Texas Lawyer, The Texas Lawbook, the Dallas Business Journal and Law360 published articles and comments regarding the recent arrival of  Mark Solomon, David Washburn, Victor Zanetti, Joseph Hoffman, Peter Bogdanow, William Rivers and William Moore to open a Dallas office for Katten.

According to Mark Solomon, "we've worked together a long time, and once the determination was made [to move] … we decided to consider alternatives, and we knew what Katten had to offer" making it "a pretty easy decision for the group." Mark explained further that Katten is everything that they were looking for – "high entrepreneurial, a really, really good place for our clients." Roger Furey, Katten Chairman noted, "They've been rock-solid corporate guys with very strong ties in the business community in Dallas for 25-plus years. ... They are our kind of people in how they operate and have a fire in their belly." The firm intends to build upon the strength of the new partners to grow the firm's business and deepen its reputation in Dallas. "We have a strong base with the corporate transactional practice ... we want to round out the office with all the other practices you'd normally see in a fully functioning, integrated office," said Mark.
