Partner Michael Callahan will speak on "Negligent Credentialing Cases on the Rise: Are Hospitals at Greater Risk?" at the NAMSS 32nd Annual Conference and Exhibition: Advancing Healthcare Tools for Tomorrow on Wednesday, October 15 from 1:30–3:00 p.m.

This session will review recent negligent credentialing cases, explaining how these cases give insight into defensive measures and the biggest mistakes that hospitals make. In addition, the session will discuss peer review credentialing statutes in the context of defending against these claims, and will provide an update on the recent reversal decision in the Kadlec case.
