Mark Farley Quoted in Bloomberg BNA on the Proposal to Abolish the Chemical Safety Board

Firm News | March 16, 2017

Mark Farley, co-head of the Environmental and Workplace Safety practice, was quoted in Bloomberg BNA's Occupational Safety & Health Reporter on a White House proposal to remove the US Chemical Safety Board (CSB). It is noted that while the final outcome is unclear, the budget proposal will most likely result in cuts to the CSB rather than elimination. Mark stated, "They simply are trying to come up with the dollars to pay for increased spending elsewhere." ("Cutting Chemical Safety Board Would Impact Red States Most," March 16, 2017)
