Leslie Minier Named to Chicago's Notable Minority Lawyers List by Crain's Chicago Business

Katten's Chief Diversity Partner Leslie Minier was named to the "2018 Chicago's Notable Minority Lawyers" list by Crain's Chicago Business for her contributions to legal profession in Illinois and beyond. The list features 58 attorneys who "advance the causes of justice and equality" through their practices, mentorship and pro bono work. In addition to her corporate practice and role as Katten's first chief diversity partner, the article notes that "she has been the force behind many diversity-focused initiatives that have helped boost the recruitment, employment, promotion and retention of talented minority attorneys." The article highlights Leslie's strong commitment to public service and notes that she holds leadership positions with several organizations, including the National Association of Women Lawyers. She formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois, Chicago Committee on Minorities in Large Law Firms and Joffrey Ballet and was a past chair of The Chicago Bar Association Alliance for Women.
