Katten Wins Copyright Battle for Paramount Pictures

Katten obtained a ruling in favor of client Paramount Pictures in a dispute with International Media Films (IMF) over the ownership rights to Federico Fellini’s classic film La Dolce Vita. On June 12, US District Judge James Otero issued summary judgments declaring that Paramount owns La Dolce Vita and that IMF committed contributory copyright infringement. Litigation partner David Halberstadter represented Paramount in the matter.
