According to Asset-Backed Alert's 2018 mid-year league tables, Katten is in second place for nearly three years in a row among the most active issuers' counsel for US asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations. Katten's deal volume has increased from the same period last year with 33 deals and a total issuance volume of nearly $27 million. Additionally, Katten was recognized in the top 20 of top underwriters' counsel for US asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations.
