According to Asset-Backed Alert's 2017 year-end league tables, Katten is in second place for the second year in a row among the most active issuers' counsel for US asset-backed and mortgage-backed securitizations. Katten finished the year with 58 deals and a total issuance volume of nearly $50 billion. Additionally, Katten was recognized in the top 15 of top underwriters' counsel for collateralized loan obligations.
