About Jaime T. Willis

Jaime Willis focuses her practice on private credit transactions. She represents agents, lenders, private equity sponsors and borrowers in a variety of secured and unsecured debt financings and refinancings.

Private credit transactions depend on long-term relationships built one deal at a time

Jaime focuses on understanding her clients' priorities to ensure deals are negotiated in an efficient and effective manner. She knows that her clients depend on building positive relationships for long-term business success and keeps a business-focused perspective while advocating for her clients.

Jaime has served as a mentor to associates and law students both at the firm and through the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity as well as to first-generation college students through America Needs You.

While attending law school, Jaime was the topic access editor of The University of Chicago Law Review and a member of the IJ Clinic on Entrepreneurship. As an alumnae, she has been a regular guest speaker at The Law School, including as part of programming with the Law and Business Society and First Generation Professionals student organization.

Prior to law school, Jaime served as a James H. Dunn, Jr. Memorial Fellow in the Illinois Office of the Governor. In this role, she focused on public policy analysis and development. Subsequently, she was one of the founding employees of the Illinois Science & Technology Coalition.
