Joshua M. Freda

Washington, DC Office

Joshua M. Freda is an associate in the Environmental and Workplace Safety practice. Josh focuses his practice on environmental criminal and civil litigation, and white collar investigations.

Prior to joining the firm, Josh worked in the trial section of a large international law firm, representing clients in litigation and regulatory compliance matters. This work involved environmental regulatory counseling regarding federal and state Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act obligations for clients engaged in complex transactions and business operations, litigation and regulatory support for government contractors engaged in pre-award and post-award bid protests, and assistance to white collar investigations and complex litigation matters.

During law school, Josh served as an editor for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law, a research assistant to Professor Margaret Foster-Riley—whose focus involves federal regulatory and policy matters in the food and drug space, among other aspects of health care—and the producer of The Libel Show, a time-honored tradition at the University of Virginia School of Law.
