Jerry L. Hall advises parties nationally in significant bankruptcy, restructuring and litigation matters. His clients span diverse industries, including real estate, retail, manufacturing, gaming and hospitality, aviation, life sciences, telecommunications and finance. 

With 21 years of experience in bankruptcy cases and related litigation, Jerry represents secured lenders, indenture trustees, debtors-in-possession, committees, distressed debt investors, lessors and troubled companies in and out of court. He advises on financial and operational restructurings throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico, and frequently represents clients through all stages of insolvency-related litigation, including, in addition to more typical matters, actions involving receiverships and equity foreclosure, inter-creditor disputes, equitable subordination, substantive consolidation, and debt and equity recharacterization.

  • Representation of MAXjet Airways, Inc. as debtor's counsel in its Chapter 11 case. MAXjet is a specialty airline offering business class-only service to London.
  • Representation of a developer and manufacturer of meniscus implant products as debtor's counsel in its Chapter 11 case.
  • Representation of the owner/operator of a hotel and casino in Puerto Rico as debtor's counsel in its Chapter 11 case.
  • Representation of a manufacturer of lumber and wood products as debtor's counsel in its Chapter 11 case.
  • Representation of a national bank, as secured lender, in eight related dairy farm Chapter 11 cases.
  • Representation of mezzanine lender in a Chapter 11 case of multi-debtor real estate developers, including related substantive consolidation and intercreditor litigation.
