This advanced session will examine recent significant changes to Stark regulations along with additional revisions that CMS has proposed or is considering. Topics to be covered include: the anti-markup rule; what “stand in the shoes” means for structuring deals; compensation rules; under arrangement deals; recruitment after Stark II Phase III; how the “period of disallowance” works; and “hot off the press” guidance from CMS, including a discussion of what might be ahead in the Stark world.
