David Matthews concentrates his practice on structured finance and securitization transactions. He regularly represents parties to public and private transactions involving auto loans, leases and floorplan assets, small- and mid-ticket equipment loans and leases, and residential mortgages and mortgage servicing, including government-sponsored enterprise (GSE), private-label and cross-border mortgage transactions. David has experience with asset-backed commercial paper (ABCP) asset sales, asset-backed warehouse lending, asset acquisition platform financing and swap documentation.

While attending law school, David was an executive editor of the Journal of International Law & Business
