CSB Releases Report on Crosby Chemical Plant Fire

Yesterday, the U.S. Chemical Safety Board (CSB) released a report on the organic peroxide fire that occurred during Hurricane Harvey at Arkema's Crosby, Texas chemical plant. The report acknowledges the unprecedented nature of the hurricane, which caused historic flooding throughout the Houston area last summer, and makes recommendations regarding enhanced flood preparedness, emergency response, and more robust hazard analyses.
