Overview

Charlotte Wasserstein’s practice is focused on litigation, motions practice and appeals. She has been a member of litigation teams for matters involving copyrights, real estate transactions, bankruptcy, consumer class actions, employment law, antitrust litigation, internet law, constitutional law, and contract disputes. She also has participated in a number of pro bono matters, including family law, immigration and probate cases.

Before joining Katten, Charlotte was a litigation associate at Jones Day. She also gained experience in a wide variety of legal matters while serving as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable George H. Wu in the Central District of California, one of the busiest district courts in the country. 

Prior to law school, Charlotte worked in the book publishing industry in New York City.

Charlotte sits on the board of directors for the Family Violence Appellate Project, a nonprofit organization that provides pro bono appellate representation to victims of domestic violence, and serves on the executive committee of the New Leadership Council of Bet Tzedek, one of the largest pro bono legal services providers in Los Angeles.
