Partner Gil Soffer will present at an ethics session titled "Sentencing: We've Got Nothing But Time" at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 16. The session will include discussion about the ethical requirements for defense lawyers and prosecutors at the sentencing stage of major securities fraud cases, and the possible ethical obligations of judges to maintain sentencing consistency between districts.
