The article, “Study: Sarbanes-Oxley Costs Burden Small Firms” (Business; pg. C4; March 1, 2006) reports on aspects of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce study concerning the expensive compliance burdens on small companies that are important to the state's economy.  Mr. Wander, Co-Chairman of the SEC's Advisory Committee examining the impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act on Smaller Public Companies, says that the committee will make recommendations in April that could “lighten the burden for small companies.”
