Partner Floyd Mandell Talks With Chicago Lawyer

Floyd Mandell, Co-Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, was featured in a Q&A article in Chicago Lawyer. Mr. Mandell says he is privileged to work in a fascinating area of law and with intelligent, highly skilled and respected people. When asked what makes a good lawyer, he replies, “A good lawyer understands his/her client’s business, goals and objectives, works with the client on options, discusses risks, keeps the client informed, and works efficiently.” In the current economy, Mr. Mandell says there is a greater need for attorneys to resolve disputes efficiently and creatively. “The legal profession is becoming more competitive, and service, efficiency and trust will distinguish lawyers more than ever before,” he adds.
