Andrew Jagoda, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice, established a book award for his alma mater, Brandeis University. “I'm hoping that the book award will help raise the profile of Brandeis,” Mr. Jagoda says. This year, the first recipient of the Brandeis Book Award received a copy of Washington's Crossing, the Pulitzer Prize-winning account of a pivotal moment in American history by David Hackett Fischer, the Earl Warren Professor of History at Brandeis. “It's my obligation to support Brandeis. I owe Brandeis everything,” Mr. Jagoda says.
