Katten Honored with Best Places to Work and Balanced Life Workplace Awards

Firm News | September 24, 2009
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized among the Best Places to Work by the Charlotte Business Journal and honored by the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys (NCAWA) as the large firm recipient of its 2009 Balanced Life Workplace Award. These two honors follow the firm’s recent recognitions from Working Mother magazine as one of the nation’s 50 Best Law Firms for Women and 100 Best Companies, designations Katten has received for the last three years.

In the November 6 issue of the Charlotte Business Journal, Katten will be listed as one of the top 25 companies in the “Medium Business” category for the second consecutive year. Each year, the Charlotte Business Journal and Quantum Market Research conduct independent and quantitative employee engagement surveys to rank the top small, medium and large-sized organizations. The final list honors outstanding companies whose benefits, policies and practices are among the best in the Charlotte area.

The Balanced Life Workplace Award is chosen by the Career Services Committee of the NCAWA, and will be awarded on October 1 at the organization’s annual conference in Charleston, S.C. The Committee was particularly impressed with Katten’s flexible adoption and maternity leave policies, and the opportunity offered for sabbaticals.
