Katten ERISA Seminar Covered by The Hedge Fund Law Report

Firm News | March 30, 2012

Recognizing the depth and breadth of the content of our recent seminar “25% Solutions: How to Manage ERISA Plan Assets in a Hedge Fund,” The Hedge Fund Law Report provided extensive coverage of the program in its March 22 issue. Presented by Katten partners Wendy Cohen, Ricardo Hollingsworth and Gary Howell, the seminar addressed, among other issues, the implication for fund managers of managing plan asset funds; the less-than-25%-ownership carveout from plan entity status; the complex 25% carveout calculation; and the special concerns relevant to different share classes, funds of funds and master-feeder funds. The article summarizes these key points.
