John David Semones

John David Semones focuses his practice on commercial real estate and related matters, with an emphasis on real estate finance transactions and closing new originations for the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) market. His experience with traditional real estate transactions includes the acquisition, disposition and leasing of properties, and the origination and restructuring of construction, permanent and mezzanine loan transactions. John David has represented commercial banks, investment banks, financial institutions, private equity funds, developers and other corporate entities, and the transactions are secured by a variety of assets including offices, retail centers, multifamily properties and hotels.

John David also has experience representing banks, hedge funds and other financial institutions in the negotiation of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) documentation framework and the acquisition and disposition of distressed assets related to secondary loan trading markets.
