Frank E. Arado

Charlotte Office

Frank E. Arado is the head of the Real Estate Finance and Lending practice. He concentrates his practice in commercial real estate with a focus on complex real estate finance transactions, structured finance transactions and joint venture transactions. He also advises a number of clients in connection with traditional real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition and leasing of properties. Frank's clients include commercial banks, investment banks, pension funds and opportunity funds, and the transactions are secured by a variety of assets including hotels, offices, retail centers, data centers, multifamily properties and credit tenant leases.

In connection with his lending practice, he focuses on syndicated real estate loan transactions, often representing the administrative agent, hospitality loan transactions, homebuilder loan transactions, credit tenant loan transactions and mezzanine loan transactions. Many of these transactions are construction loans for multifamily, hotel, retail and office projects.

Frank is a regular lecturer at conferences and educational seminars on various topics related to real estate finance. He is ranked in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers and Super Lawyers, and was selected as one of the Charlotte Business Journal's "40 under 40" in 2010.
