Our Clients

Katten's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation team designs, negotiates and drafts compensation plans and arrangements for executives and key employees of publicly and privately held companies and tax-exempt organizations, including health care institutions. Our clients include both employers and individuals.

Our Services

We offer an integrated approach to executive and equity-based compensation plans. Our attorneys provide counsel on tax and securities issues as well as estate planning opportunities, institutional shareholder concerns and market trends.

We work with our clients to design executive compensation and equity-based compensation plans to attract and retain talented key personnel. These benefits can be provided through employment contracts, restrictive covenants, change-in-control agreements, incentive compensation and bonus programs, compensation deferral arrangements, stock option plans and grant agreements, restricted stock plans, and award agreements or other equity-based compensation arrangements. We are experienced with all of these vehicles as well as with the use of appropriate funding arrangements.

It is always our goal to bring practical business sense, knowledge and reputation to bear on the compensation issues that arise in today’s highly regulated, sophisticated and competitive marketplace. Clients rely on Katten to provide creative solutions that address interests of employers, shareholders and executives.
