About Zachary S. Beal

Zachary Beal concentrates his practice on litigation and antitrust matters. He advises corporate clients, financial institutions and individuals in both state and federal courts in commercial litigation, white-collar cases and other related disputes. He also counsels clients on antitrust issues, with a particular focus on pre-merger filings under the Hart-Scott Rodino Act, ensuring clients achieve regulatory clearance needed to close on transactions.

Zack maintains an active pro bono practice, securing asylum for a refugee, representing a New York cultural institution in a contractual dispute and annually helping to coach the Townsend-Harris High School moot court and mock trial teams.

Prior to joining Katten, Zack worked at a national law firm, representing insurers in complex insurance litigation. While attending law school, Zack served as executive editor of the ADR Honor Competition Team and associate editor of the Art & Entertainment Law Journal. He also served as Student Bar Association president of Cardozo Law School.
