William E. Mattingly concentrates his practice in employee benefits and executive compensation matters. After graduating from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and a Master's degree in engineering, Mr. Mattingly received his law degree in 1975 from Indiana University School of Law–Indianapolis.

With respect to Mr. Mattingly's general employee benefits practice, he has advised clients for more than 30 years in all employee benefit plan matters, including all types of qualified pension, profit sharing and stock bonus plans.

Mr. Mattingly is a frequent speaker and author of articles on employee benefit subjects. He has also been listed in Illinois Super Lawyers (2008–2009).

In addition to the American Bar Association, Mr. Mattingly is a member of the Midwest Business Group on Health.
