Victoria Shusterman

Victoria Shusterman concentrates in the areas of structured finance, commercial development, acquisitions and dispositions and joint ventures. Ms. Shusterman's lending practice includes construction, conventional, mezzanine and securitized financing maters, preferred equity and joint ventures. Ms. Shusterman's development practice is focused primarily on redevelopment, development, venture formation and financing of retail, hotel and urban mixed use (office, retail and residential) projects.

Ms. Shusterman represents institutional lenders, insurance companies, finance companies, real estate investment trusts and other real estate investors in connection with commercial real estate financing transactions and investments. She has coordinated real estate investments across the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean, including multi-state portfolio transactions involving the financing of the acquisition of hotel portfolios and multi-family apartment complexes. Ms. Shusterman's practice also includes representation of real estate investment trusts and commercial finance companies in connection with the origination and securitization of portfolios of commercial loans, as well as construction financings across the United States and Caribbean.

Ms. Shusterman earned her law degree from the Washington University School of Law in 1998. She was a member of Washington University Law Quarterly (executive notes editor, 1997-98) and graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science in 1995. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and New York.
