Partners Gail Migdal Title and Joel Weiner will speak as panelists on "The Future of Idea Submission Claims and the Copyright Preemption Doctrine: Montz v. Pilgrim Films" at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13.

The panel will address how both the District Court and the original Ninth Circuit panel distinguished Grosso v. Miramax. They will also discuss why the original panel found Grosso inapplicable to Montz, possible reasons why the Ninth Circuit elected to review Montz en banc, and the potential implications of the pending decision.
