Tami Kameda Sims' practice focuses on general business and entertainment litigation, including First Amendment and intellectual property matters. Ms. Sims also has experience representing clients in appeals, in both California appellate courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sims worked for over four years as an associate at White O’Connor Fink & Brenner, a litigation boutique in Los Angeles.
Ms. Sims earned her Bachelor of Science degree in symbolic systems from Stanford University in 2001. She earned a Master of Arts from Stanford University in communication in 2002. She received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law in 2006.
While in law school, Ms. Sims was Articles Editor of the UCLA Law Review. Additionally, she was a judicial extern to the Honorable David O. Carter of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Sims is admitted to practice in California, and before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
