Ms. Chromow is a partner in the Real Estate Practice at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. She has extensive experience in a wide range of real estate transactions, both in the United States and overseas. Her practice, which is international in scope, includes financings of all varieties, including structured, syndicated, securitized and construction; joint ventures and partnerships, including the establishment of public and private REITs and funds; and acquisitions and dispositions of assets. Ms. Chromow has worked extensively on hotel development, management and financing projects. She has also significant experience in workouts, enforcements and restructurings.

Ms. Chromow’s clients include WestLB AG, HSH Nordbank AG, ING Real Estate Finance (USA) LLC, Wachovia Bank, Emigrant Bank, Textron Financial Corporation, The Bank of Nova Scotia and Westdeutsche Immobilienbank. She also advises The Prescott Group, LLC, Makar Property, Citigroup and The Clarett Group. Ms. Chromow was named a finalist for the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America in 2007, and was listed in the The Best Lawyers in America (2010–2012) in the specialty of Real Estate and the 2010 edition of Presidential Who’s Who Among Business and Professional Achievers. She also has been included in every edition of The Legal Media Group's Guide to the World’s Leading Real Estate Lawyers since 2002.

Recent transactions which Ms. Chromow has worked on include:
  • Working with the City of Beverly Hills on behalf of a major financial institution in connection with the development of a hotel in Beverly Hills to be operated as a Montage Hotel.
  • The refinancing of LaSamanna Hotel on the French side of St. Martin, together with a construction loan for the development and sale of villas on the Dutch side of St. Martin.
  • The financing of the Meatpacking Standard Hotel.
  • The acquisition of a private hotel REIT.
