Qualifications and Career Profile
Ricardo J. Hollingsworth represents private equity and venture capital firms in connection with their fund formation and portfolio company investments. He also represents institutional investors, including foundations, endowments, public and private pension plans and insurance companies, in connection with their investments in alternative assets, direct investments and secondary transactions. He has extensive experience in private equity and venture capital transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate partnering transactions, strategic investments and corporate finance, including secured and unsecured debt financing transactions.
Mr. Hollingsworth clerked for the Honorable Joseph W. Hatchett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit from 1994 to 1995. Before entering law school, he served as a captain in the U.S. Air Force.
Education and Bar Admissions
Mr. Hollingsworth received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1994 and a B.A. from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. He is admitted to practice in New York.
