Herbert S. Wander Named To ABA Task Force On The Attorney-Client Privilege

CHICAGO – Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman is pleased to announce that partner Herbert S. Wander has been named to the newly created American Bar Association Task Force on the Attorney-Client Privilege.

The group will be entrusted with examining and analyzing the rationale behind the attorney-client privilege and its exceptions, and will provide perspective and clarity to federal regulators, policymakers and attorneys nationwide. The task force will meet several times each year; the first meeting is tentatively scheduled for November in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Wander is a partner in the Corporate Practice at Katten Muchin Zavis Rosenman, concentrating on all aspects of business law including corporate governance, securities law and mergers and acquisitions transactions. He has chaired the American Bar Association's Business Law Section and is serving his second term as a member of the Legal Advisory Committee to the New York Stock Exchange Board of Governors.
