Partner William Natbony Quoted in Wall Street Journal on Hedge Funds

The article, “Hedge funds' use of `side pockets' spurs concern -- separate accounts restrict clients' access to money, could give rise to cheating” discusses the regulatory advantages and drawbacks of hedge funds increasingly using separate accounts to control clients’ access to funds. In the article, William Natbony notes, “In the event of a market freeze-up . . . there's an ability to use those side pockets for investments that have turned illiquid.”
