Partner Steven Eckhaus Quoted in Wall Street Journal on Early Bonuses

Steven Eckhaus, Chair of the firm’s Executive Employment Practice, was quoted in the Wall Street Journal in an article on bonuses that might arrive early this year. Many companies that disburse bonus payments early in the first quarter are considering moving 2011 bonuses to the end of 2010. Executives themselves have been inquiring about these bonuses as well as signing bonuses, says Mr. Eckhaus. “They're asking for it more because they're concerned about higher tax rates [in 2011],” he says, adding that firms haven’t committed to making early signing-bonus payments.
