Partner Steven Eckhaus Quoted in Dow Jones Newswires and Wall Street Journal on Securities Industry Unemployment

Steven Eckhaus, Chair of the firm’s Executive Employment Practice, was quoted by Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal for the second consecutive month on the decline in jobs in the securities industry. Since last October, there has been a 16% drop in the number of securities industry professionals in New York City. Mr. Eckhaus has been predicting greater than expected unemployment would be exacerbated by layoffs at year end, as Wall Street firms, which "had an up and down year," lay off professionals who would otherwise get a piece of the bonus pool.
