Partner Richard Bauer Quoted in PTO Application Changes in IP Law Bulletin

Richard P. Bauer, partner in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice, was quoted in IP Law Bulletin in an article on changes to the patent application process at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office which some say, unfairly shifts the work of patent examiners back to the applicants ("Patent Attorneys Cry Foul at PTO Application Changes," January 5, 2006). In the article, Mr. Bauer notes that the long term impact of this change is that inventors will have less protection than they deserve.
