Partner John Paniaguas Quoted in The Wall Street Journal on Chinese Patents
August 28, 2007
John Paniaguas, a partner in the Firm's Intellectual Property Practice, was quoted in an article in The Wall Street Journal on the process of obtaining patents in China. In the article, Mr. Paniaguas notes that, “getting a Chinese patent roughly costs U.S. businesses $15,000 to $20,000 -- factoring in the filing, legal and language-translation fees involved -- and takes about two or three years" (“Getting a Patent in China,” August 28, 2007).
