Paige E. Barr concentrates her practice in the areas of bankruptcy and corporate reorganization. Ms. Barr has represented many debtors, unsecured creditors' committees, secured and unsecured creditors, and trustees and lessors in out-of-court and bankruptcy proceedings.
Ms. Barr serves on the Commercial Law League of America’s Bankruptcy Section Executive Council (2005-present), Young Members’ Section Executive Council (May 2008-present), Bankruptcy Section Legislative Committee (2004-present), and is vice chair of the Bankruptcy Section Legislative Committee’s National Education Committee (May 2008-present). She is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, International Association of Insolvency, Restructuring and Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL), and the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).
She has spoken on the topic, “Reduction, Disallowance and Disgorgement of Fees as a Means of Discipline” at the Commercial Law League of America, New York Conference (2006).

Ms. Barr received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001 and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2004, where she served as the editor-in-chief of the
DePaul Business and Commercial Law Journal. Ms. Barr served as an intern for the Honorable Susan P. Sonderby of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and Michigan and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
