Oonagh L. Deasy concentrates her practice in finance and corporate matters. Ms. Deasy has experience as underwriters’ counsel, purchasers’ counsel, bond counsel and issuers’ counsel in a wide variety of corporate and municipal financings, including numerous multifamily housing bond transactions involving various types of credit enhancement: FHA, Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, bond insurance and letters of credit. Ms. Deasy also serves as a financial analyst to national and regional investment banks, specializing in the structuring and rating of housing bonds.
Ms. Deasy earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from James Madison University in 1989 and her Juris Doctor degree from Tulane Law School, cum laude, in 1995. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
