Sheldon Banoff, Tax Partner in the Chicago office, will be a panelist on the American Bar Association's National Tax Teleconference on July 27, on "Partnership Equity for Services: New Tax Regulations and Their Impact." This program will feature a discussion of recent IRS and Treasury Department proposals on transfers of equity in partnerships (and limited liability companies) in exchange for services. Mr. Banoff will discuss the tax aspects of the issuance and ownership of partnership interests and options to acquire partnership interests for services, as affected by recently issued Internal Revenue Service proposed regulations and guidance.
This teleconference will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.
