Michael A. Jacobson

Michael A. Jacobson is Head of the Commercial Finance Practice. His practice encompasses a wide variety of areas in commercial finance, including senior, first lien, and second lien and mezzanine financings and structures. Mr. Jacobson’s experience includes issuer, lender and investor representation, cash flow and asset-based transactions, leveraged buyouts and build-ups, restructurings and workouts, addressing and negotiating intercreditor and subordination-related issues, equity co-investments and health care finance transactions for a broad range of institutional clients. He has been listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business (2006–2011), The Best Lawyers in America (2010–2012) and Illinois Super Lawyers (2007–2008).

Mr. Jacobson graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance and attended DePaul University College of Law, where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Law Review and the Order of the Coif.
