Beginning on January 1, 2006, Medicare Part D will make prescription drug benefits available to millions of eligible individuals.  Sponsors of group health plans providing prescription drug coverage must provide Medicare Part D eligible plan participants with a "notice of creditable coverage" prior to November 15, 2005.
