Macrovision Acquires Installshield

CHICAGO - InstallShield Software Corporation, the leading provider of software-installation tools, has announced that on July 1, 2004 the company completed its sale to Macrovision Corporation for $76 million in cash.
An additional payment of up to $20 million is contingent upon post-acquisition performance.
