Leading Commercial Finance Attorney Angela L. Batterson Joins Katten As New York-Based Partner

NEW YORK – Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP is pleased to announce that Angela L. Batterson has joined the Firm as a partner in its New York Commercial Finance Practice. Ms. Batterson joins the firm from the New York office of King & Spalding LLP, where she was a partner in the Finance Practice Group.
Ms. Batterson has represented lenders and borrowers in private debt financings, including secured and unsecured senior credit facilities, sponsor-backed acquisition finance facilities, asset-based loans and mezzanine financing. She also has extensive experience in workouts and restructurings, debt to equity conversions, debtor-in-possession financings and exit facilities. Ms. Batterson has represented various financial institutions, including GE Capital Corporation, Bank of America, N.A. and SunTrust Bank, in numerous financial transactions.
Ms. Batterson is ranked by
Chambers USA as an “Up and Coming” leader in her field. She earned her J.D.,
magna cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago and her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
