Laura D. Waller

Laura Dreznes Waller concentrates her practice in litigation and dispute resolution with an emphasis on commercial litigation and employment matters. Ms. Waller has represented clients in a variety of business and employment disputes including disputes concerning the negotiation and formation of contracts, breaches of fiduciary duties, the enforcement of restrictive covenants, and disputes brought under Title VII and other federal and state employment laws. Ms. Waller has also assisted clients in drafting employment and separation agreements and personnel policies.

Ms. Waller earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton in 2001. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2004, where she served as the Executive Administrative Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review and was a member of the school’s Student Bar Association. Upon graduation, Ms. Waller was awarded a Public Interest Law Initiative Fellowship with the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago, where she assisted in the litigation of employment matters.

Ms. Waller was named a Rising Star in Illinois Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2010. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
