Kimberly Broder is a member of the firm's Structured Products and Financial Services Practices. She concentrates her practice in financial services matters, with an emphasis on structured products, repurchase and reverse repurchase agreements, synthetic repos, transactional financing/lending law and general hedge fund representation. She has represented dealers and onshore and offshore hedge funds in structuring, documenting and negotiating various investment products and the structures and platforms from which such products are transacted. Ms. Broder structures and forms both U.S. and non-U.S. hedge funds and fund-of-funds, as well as the managers of and advisers to these vehicles. She also provides ongoing regulatory, securities, and operational advice to hedge funds and advisers. Ms. Broder has experience in repurchase agreements, securities lending agreements and prime brokerage agreements (including enhanced leverage platforms and other structured products using prime brokerage and repo based structures).

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Broder spent three years as an auditor at Andersen LLP where she focused her practice in the insurance, banking and real estate markets. While at Andersen, Ms. Broder reviewed, consulted and aided in the preparation of consolidated annual reports, financial statements, and regulatory filings, as well as audited year-end and quarter-end financial statements for various public and private clients.

Ms. Broder earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Emory University in 1999 and her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 2005, where she was a Justice John Marshall Harlan Scholar. She is admitted to practice in New York.
